Bewitching Botanicals Hot-Iron Transfer Embroidery Pattern
The sweet floral designs of the "Bewitching Botanicals" embroidery pattern set were inspired by the colorful embroidery of Central Europe.
With this pattern set, you can make your own bit of Hungarian folkwear, or folk art. Go traditional, or completely casual and modern with your stitching, these flowers are yours to play with! In the tiny village of Buzsák in Hungary, they call these kinds of designs "witchy" stitching, and anything you make with them will be bewitchingly charming.
This pattern set contains small designs that can be used individually or combined to add a pop of folklore-inspired color to a garment, to embellish necklines, or create a bit of frame-able stitched artwork. You will also find a single, larger design suitable for a table runner, a throw pillow, or the front panel of the Róza blouse!
Instructions contain a bit of background information and detailed stitch dictionary with step-by-step diagrams.
The designs included in this pattern set are suitable for advanced beginner to intermediate embroiderers, depending on how you choose to stitch them.
Printed hot-iron transfer version contains a 12"x18" (about 30x45cm) sheet with designs printed with heat-transfer ink on recycled newsprint, as well as a large instructions sheet with all stitching suggestions, step-by-step diagrams, and background information.
